CARE’s Current Interns

Sarah Lapidus is excited to be working at CARE and to be able to spend time with these amazing animals every day.  Sarah recently graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts where she majored in biology.  She loves ecology and animal behavior, and is excited to learn more by working with big cats.  After CARE, she is joining the Peace Corps in West Africa, but she hopes to work with animals again in the future.

Liz Anger is from Long Island, New York. She has loved and worked with animals her whole life, and is now focusing on large animals. She wants to open a facility of her own someday to help save exotic animals in need. Going from breeding dogs and riding horses to caring for big cats has been a life changing experience for her. Liz wishes to gain more experience working with animals and the business end of animal care at CARE.
